LIBRARY NOTICE: BOOK ISSUE, RENEWAL & RETURN POLICY

Dear Students,

To ensure fair access to library resources for all students, please adhere to the following guidelines regarding book borrowing and returns:

1. Renewal Period:

• Books can be renewed oncefor an additional 15 daysbefore the initial 15-day period expires.
• Visit the library counter to extend your due date.

2. Maximum Borrowing Period:

• The total borrowing periodmust not exceed 30 days(initial 15 days + renewal 15 days).
• After 30 days, books must be returnedto the library.

• After returning a book, the same book cannot be reissued to the same student for at least 2 daysto ensure equal access.

3. Late Submission Penalty:

• Failure to return books after 30 dayswill result in a fine of Rs 10 per day per book.
• Avoid unnecessary fines by returning or renewing books on time.

4. Library Timings:

• Open:7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Lunch Break:11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (No book transactions during this time)

5. Responsibility:

• Handle books with care and return them in good condition.
• Lost or damaged books must be reported immediately and a fine equal to the book’s current pricewill be charged for replacement
